HG Natural Stone Protector HG Product 35 invisibly protects marble and other types of calciferous natural stone against penetration of water, stains, dirt and limescale. HG Natural Stone Protector seals off the natural stone, making it ideal for use in bathrooms, on kitchen worktops, window ledges and tables.

HG Natural Stone Protector can also be used outdoors and greatly reduces the risk of discolouration, efflorescence, frost damage, mould and algae.

Please note: The application of HG Natural Stone Protector may give a slightly more matt finish to tiles and may deepen the colour. A test tile is always recommended.

HG Natural Stone Protector Usage Instructions

Directions for use:

The surface to be treated with HG Natural Stone Protector must be absolutely clean and dry and free of grease and dust.

Apply HG Marble and Natural Stone Protector liberally, neat with a clean cloth, a Mohair Paint Roller or wide paint brush. Always work in straight lines in one direction. On vertical surfaces start from the bottom and work upwards.

Do not treat more than 6-8 m² at a time. After about 4 minutes remove any solution left resting on the surface with a clean lint-free cloth. If a film has developed, remove with a cloth dampened with turpentine. Tools can also be cleaned with turpentine immediately after use.

For optimum protection of very porous surfaces apply another one or two extra layers of HG Natural Stone Protector on top of the first layer, allowing at least 1 hour drying time between applications.

Do not touch or use the surface for about 12 hours after treatment with HG Natural Stone Protector and do not expose to liquid spillages. Allow 24 hours for maximum protection to be acheived.

Maintain treated surfaces regularly with HG Natural Stone Bathroom Cleaner

Coverage: 10-20 m² per 500ml.

Attention: Do not apply HG Marble and Natural Stone Protector in direct sunlight or temperatures above 25 ºC. Allow good ventilation when applying. Mask all areas not to be treated.

Surfaces that have been treated with HG Natural Stone Protector cannot subsequently be treated with conventional sealers, polishes or waxes. For maximum protection especially against oil and fat an additional treatment with HG Top Protector is recommended.
