De-Solv-It Sticky Stuff Remover Liquid - Usage Instructions
Usage Instructions:
Always test De-Solv-It Sticky Stuff Remover Liquid on a small unobtrusive area before use
De-Solv-It Sticky Stuff Remover Liquid can be used on skin and hair, it is important however that the treated area is washed thoroughly with soap and water after use.
1. For removing sticky labels or adhesive residue from hard surfaces.
a) With high gloss labels try to remove as much of the gloss front part of the sticker manually. This will help the De-Solv-It Sticky Stuff Remover Liquid to penetrate the adhesive backing.
b) Drip Sticky Stuff Remover liberally onto a clean dry cloth and apply to the affected area.
c) Leave De-Solv-It Sticky Stuff Remover Liquid on the surface to work for 5-7 minutes.
d) Gently scrape the residue off the surface using a non-scratch item, such as a plastic spatula.
e) Wash surface with warm soapy water and rinse with clean water . Repeat if necessary.
2. Removing Oil, Grease, Tar, Crayon and similar stains from washable fabrics.
a) Remove as much excess staining as possible.
b) Drip e-Solv-It Sticky Stuff Remover Liquid sparingly onto both sides of the fabric and leave for 5 minutes (10 for bad stains).
c) Blot area with a dry absorbent material or kitchen roll.
d) Re-apply De-Solv-It Sticky Stuff Remover Liquid sparingly to both sides of the fabric and leave for one minute or so.
e) Wash in accordance with manufacturers instructions - preferably use slightly more detergent and at the highest possible temperature setting recommended for the fabric.
3) Removing Chewing Gum or thicker coatings from hard surfaces.
a) Remove as much as the deposit as possible manually without damaging the substrate.
b) Pierce the surface of the gum/residue with a pin or similar to allow for De-Solv-It Sticky Stuff Remover Liquid to penetrate the surface thoroughly, proceed as in 2-4 in (1) above. |
