There are many dangers when white needs to be white. It can become yellow with sunlight, grey through washing, discolour because it was washed with other coloured fabrics.
HG Whiter than White prevents and removes greying, yellowing and discolouring.
The inside of the cap of HG Whiter than White is a measuring cup with measuring rings. Shake the measuring cup every so often during filling to distribute the Whiter than White powder evenly, and to ensure you measure the correct amount.
Machine Wash: Put the laundry (approx. 2.5kg) in the drum. Fill measuring cup with HG Whiter than White powder in accordance with the table below.
Waterhardness*__light soiling__normal soiling__ heavy soiling soft______________40 ml________60 ml_______80 ml medium hard_____60 ml________60ml_______100 ml hard_____________60 ml________80 ml_______120 ml
Pour this amount in the detergent drawer. Use the main cycle at 40 or 60 ºC, without adding normal detergent. You can use fabric softener in the softener drawer.
Handwash: Fill the measuring cup to 80ml. Dissolve this amount in approx. 5 litres of lukewarm water (30-35 ºC). Put the laundry in the mixture and leave it to soak for at least 2 hours. Rinse the fabric twice with clean water. If the laundry looks like it is turning pink during soaking, the soaking time must be extended by one hour.
Attention: Stain removers and normal detergents can have a negative influence on HG Whiter than White. If your white laundry is stained or very dirty, we recommend you to wash your white laundry with a cycle that has a pre-wash. Instructions: Depending on the type of stain, treat them with HG Laundry Spots and Stains Pre-Wash or a suitable HG Stain Away. Pour your normal detergent in the pre-wash drawer and the correct amount of HG Whiter than White in the detergent drawer. Run the programme at 40 or 60 ºC. This removes the stains and dirt from your white laundry, without having a negative effect on HG Whiter than White.
The same applies to the handwash - if the white laundry is stained or very dirty, treat it first with HG Laundry Spots and Stains Pre-Wash or a suitable HG Stain Away and wash it with a normal detergent. After rinsing, use as described under the instructions for handwash.
Usage: See table above. The contents of the pot is enough for approx. 6 machine or handwashes.
Attention: HG Whiter than White is not suitable for wool, silk or coloured fabrics. Always read the care label of the item of clothing. Never use HG Whiter than White in combination with other detergents.
Repeat the treatment with HG Whiter than White if discolouring or persistent stains remain.
