Pingi I-Dry XL De-Humidifier

Pingi I-Dry XL De-Humidifier Usage Instructions

When do I recharge Pingi? Each Pingi has a unique indicator that changes colour from blue to pink. When Pingi is saturated, the indicator will turn pink. Pingi should then be recharged. i-Dry has its own plug and can be recharged by connecting the device to any power point for 8 hours.

How do I place Pingi? As Pingi does not leak it can be placed anywhere indoors. However, Pingi should be kept away from grease, oil and water (liquid form). You can use the attached string or hook (i-Dry) to hang Pingi between your clothing.

Do I need to remove the granules from the bag? No, it is not necessary. Never cut the bag open. The bag allows moisture to pass through it. Do remove the box and other packaging materials before using.

Where can I use Pingi?
Boat / Auto / Caravan / Cellar Cupboard / Kitchen / Clothing Cupboard / Shoe Closet / Garage / Garden House / Attic / Store Cupboard / Kitchen Cupboard / Broom Closet / Etc. etc.

How many Pingi’s do I need in a space? Dependant on the air humidity (Pingi begins to work at approximately 50% humidity) and the size of the space, we advise you to utilise the following number of pingis:
Spaces up to 3 m² => 1 - 250Gram Pingi
Spaces up to 6 m² => 2 - 250Gram Pingis
Spaces up to 9 m² => 3 - 250 Gram Pingis
Of course it is possible to use fewer Pingi’s. The frequency of recharging (microwave oven) will then need to be increased. There are many types of Pingi to chose from.

Do I need to re-fill my Pingi? No, absolutely not. You purchase a Pingi once. With normal use, a Pingi lasts at least 5 years. However, remember to keep Pingi away from any kind of oily substance!

Do I have to empty Pingi between uses? No, but recharging between uses is possible. The patented indicator on our Pingi changes from blue (empty) to pink (completely loaded with moisture). Pingi will then automatically stop absorbing moisture. Pingi can be used again and again. If a longer recharging is necessary, let Pingi cool down first. We advise not to recharge Pingi when the indicator is still blue.
